That's great sixtieschick, I read the section on the Paul Stine case and was taken by how closely the description of the Zodiac killer resembled Jack Tarrance, hair color and cut, clothing, body size and weight, age and gait.

I wonder how Howard Davis explains that since Bruce Davis doesn't fit that description what-so-ever.

I found the info on the Rosicrucian Society and Aleister Crowley very interesting.

The Donna Lass info was great, it turns out she worked at a hospital here in Minneapolis, also I couldn't help but notice that she had worked at a hospital in the Presidio prior to her last job. I couldn't find the reward poster.

Nanette, he had some handwriting comparisons on that site that seems to match Bruce Davis samples, what do you think about that?

That site can be a bit hard to find things in, so I will post the links with information on Donna Lass

http://thezodiacmansonconnection.com/victim_lass.html

http://thezodiacmansonconnection.com/lass_related.html

http://thezodiacmansonconnection.com/question.html#Lass

Again, the webmaster there thinks Davis of the Manson family is the Zodiac, but if you ignore the references to Davis, you can see some good research done about the Lass Case that may be helpful in finding out more about the reward poster, etc.

sixtieschick, I'm exploring the sites you've listed and want you to know that I appreciate the link because it does have more info on Donna Lass. I didn't find the handwriting samples at all compelling, I don't think the ones he offered matched, initially I saw some that seemed to but the further I looked the less they match. I thought the composite comparison (the one we think resembles Denny) was similar to Bruce Davis.

He does offers some interesting things there and I haven't written off a possible Zodiac/Manson connection but I haven't yet found anything compelling, I'm not saying that you do, I'm just making that statement alone. I've been putting off exploring the Zodiac/Manson subject while I get as familiar with the provable facts as I can so that I won't get things mixed up later on but it is time for me to glean what I can, so thanks again.

Yes, I do think there was some good research done on Donna Lass.

I read up more on the Zodiac/Manson connection and can tell you that some of the claims made by Howard Davis are not reasonable and lack foundation, I found a pretty good explanation regarding that matter on line, it dispelled the timelines and also had excerpts of an interview with Manson family prosecutor Vince Bugleosi (sp) where he basically shows that Howard Davis' claims don't hold water. I won't link the site because it's readily available.

I do think though that there is some food for thought there because for example; the Donna Lass info seems neutral and unbiased but who knows for sure. The ALA info there kinda sums up things as to how he became a suspect, DNA cleared him after his death. Other details like a wanted poster of the Zodiac composite have the description of an UNSUB as having "reddish brown" hair.

Still I'm open to all of the possibilities while weighing the probabilities based on known and provable facts. So I'm still sorting things out and it's a lot of info to keep straight.

Jack Tarrance is still my prime suspect and many pieces of info support the case against him along with some very uncanny clues that fit only him.
